DataBroker acts as an enabling medium for secure data exchange and transactions and does not explicitly control the content which is being made available for sale, however, we regularly review all the data collections and data products which are made available on the platform and swiftly remove any content which goes against the data publishing policy of the platform. We encourage any user to report any violation at the earliest via the Contact Us section.

As a responsible data provider, we request you to:

• Ensure that the data you are putting up for sale is not stolen, illegally obtained, contains personal identification details, infringes intellectual property rights, is spam or fake or can cause any harm to any individual or organization.
• Ensure that you are an authorized representative of the organization or the individual/individuals who owns or generates the data you are selling. In any case of fraud, impersonation, data leak and any other kind of illegal activity, law of the land will take its course and DataBroker will fully cooperate with the investigating authorities.
• Ensure that the data being published does not contain nudity, pornography, personal contact details, medical or health records, or is classified information.
• Ensure that the data being published is not about weapon systems, radar systems, defense equipment and installations, hazardous chemicals, explosives, nuclear arms or nuclear technology in any form.
• Ensure that images being uploaded for data collection representation are free from any kind of copyright claims. Once uploaded on the platform, DataBroker reserves the right to modify/change the image to improve its quality or representation, use it for promotion or remove it in case of a policy violation.

Best Practices for publishing data collections and data products:

• Ensure that the images and example files being uploaded are of high quality, of correct aspect ratio 4:3 and of recommended resolution (1400px/1050px). For best results, you can use something like adobe photoshop, canva or powerpoint/slides/key to create a good-looking image that will represent your data collection.
• Please be detailed in writing the product description and data collection, a well-structured description will not only help in search engine optimization, but will also lead to more sale and conversions.
• Provide relevant example files for a preview of the data you are offering.
• Make sure to promote your data products on social media and other electronic mediums for maximum reach.
