Data Selling

As a Data Provider, you have full control on the way you sell your data and set the sales price. We support the following selling models:

  • Free: there is no cost to buy your data. After the user is identified, he is able to access your data without the need to process any payment. This model is mostly used by non-profit organizations or to provide a free of charge sample of your data
  • Fixed Price: you define a fixed sales price. In this scenario the buyer will either pay the price you ask for, or contact you for more information.
  • Flexible Price: you define a fixed sales price (e.g., 25,000eur), the buyer can purchase it instantly at your sales price (e.g., 25,000eur) or make a private bid at a lower price (e.g., 19,000eur). When a bid is received, you will be notified by mail and in your account, you can either accept or reject the bid along with a message to the buyer. Once a bid is accepted, the buyer can finalize the purchase at the agreed price. Note that bids are private, only the seller and the buyer are aware about the negotiated price.
  • Data Selling
  • Market Driven Price: this selling model is perfect if you do not know yet the value of your data. You do not define the sales price and the buyer can make a bid. Like with the Flexible Price model, you will be notified and decide to accept or reject the buyer’s price proposal.
  • Price On Demand: here, you do not define a price and also do not allow for a bid, rather you first invite an interest form the interested data buyer, and once a data buyer contacts you, you can discuss the price as well as the specific terms and conditions for that particular transaction. This selling model is perfect when you have a really large data offering with a lot of customization options at data content or contractual level and also where you do not want to show your cards early on in the deal.
Revenue Sharing

Creating your account and publishing your Data Product is free . You can define the sales price or choose from one of many pricing models. When a data buyer makes a purchase, sellers get paid 90% of the sales price after a warranty period of 30 days, whereas 10% goes to the DataBroker platform
